Supporters
The Fellowship for Action Program is supported by The Seedling Foundation. Seedling supports initiatives and organizations that develop and implement innovative solutions for climate protection. Nurture - Inspire - Empower is the guiding principle for its philanthropic engagement. The focus is on the Swiss food system and neighbouring Europe (agro-food sector).
The Backstory
The Fellowship for Action is inspired by the Bauhaus School - a place founded in 1919 by Walter Gropius in Weimar, Germany, where people from diverse backgrounds came together to learn, create, and explore new ways of doing things. Just as the Bauhaus brought together art and craft in new ways, FoodHaus wants to connect changemakers from diverse backgrounds to rethink food as a powerful tool for change.
We believe that real transformation happens when we break down the silos between thinking, doing and creating. That is why the Fellowship for Action program’s approach is hands-on, open, and built on collaboration and understanding relations to make a positive difference for people and the planet.
