Food Fellowship for Action Program

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the participation in the FoodHaus Fellowship for Action Program (the "Program") organized by the FoodHaus (the "Organizer"). By applying to the Program, participants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Program 

- The Program consists of:

- Two one-week on-site sessions in Switzerland (the "On-Sites").

- An online learning journey, including access to a custom-built community platform (the "Platform").

- The Organizer reserves the right to substitute services equal to or comparable to the Program for the participant if reasonably required by the prevailing circumstances.

3. Methodology
- Participants agree to be open-minded to the Organizer’s teaching and coaching methods and partake in methods proposed, to include receiving coaching and guidance from the Organizer’s team, guest speakers and contributors. Participants understand the Organizer has made no guarantees as to the outcome of the coaching sessions or Program, including no guarantee of a promotion, mastery of a skill or securing of a leadership position. The Organizer may revise methods or parts of the Program based on the needs of the participants, or as deemed necessary in the Organizer team’s opinion.

- Participants are aware that the Organizer’s team members who are offering the 1:1 coaching sessions are qualified to offer coaching services. However, they do not solve matters typically handled by licensed, regulated professionals and are therefore not a replacement for the client’s legal counsel, therapist, psychologist, medical professional or the like.

4. Eligibility

Participants must meet the following criteria to enroll in the Program:

- Be at least 21 years old at the start of the Program

- Be able to communicate fluently in English

- Have a reliable internet connection and infrastructure to collaborate online

- Be able to participate in both one week intensives in Switzerland and in between online 

5. Application 

- Participants must submit a complete application form to be considered for the Program.

- Acceptance into the Program is subject to review and approval by the Organizer. The participants will be informed via email on their approval.

6. Payment

- Upon accepting the invitation to join the Program, participants agree to pay the full purchase amount, equivalent to two installments or one lump sum payment.

- Participants select a payment plan option (two installments or one lump sum payment) and they agree to pay the participant fee according to the payment schedule. This participant fee is non-refundable.

- Payment can be made via Bank Transfer and Stripe.

- In the event a participant fails to make any of the payments within a payment plan during the time prescribed, the Organizer has the right to immediately disallow participation by the participant until payment is paid in full, including disallowing access to modules, materials, and coaching calls or sessions. If the participant does not commence with payment after 30 days, the Organizer has the right to terminate the agreement.

7. Travel Arrangements

- Participants are responsible for organizing their own travel to and from Switzerland (Zurich) for the On-Sites.

- Participants must secure their own insurance prior to the start of the Program.

- Participants are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas to attend the on-site intensives in Switzerland.

- Accommodation and meals (breakfast / lunch / dinner) during the On-Sites are arranged by the Organizer (excl. alcohol). Any allergies or other dietary requirements of participants must be communicated at an early stage so that they can be taken into account.

8. Financial Responsibilities

- Participants are responsible for all costs associated with the Program, including but not limited to:

- Travel to and from Switzerland (Zurich area) including potential visa application

- Insurance coverage during the Program

- Internet connection and infrastructure such as a laptop for online collaboration

- Accommodation and meals (breakfast / lunch / dinner) during the On-Sites and any fees related to collaborative tools during the Program are paid by the Organizer.

9. Participation and Conduct

- Participants are expected to engage actively in all aspects of the Program, including online discussions and on-site activities.

- Participants must adhere to the community guidelines set forth on the Platform and maintain a respectful and inclusive environment. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the Program in cases of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

10. Cancellation and Refund Policy

- Participants may cancel their enrollment up to four weeks before the program starts for a full refund. 

- Cancellations made after this date will not be eligible for a refund.

- The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Program due to unforeseen circumstances at any time, in which case participants will receive a refund for any part of the Program not completed that otherwise had been paid for in advance.

11. Intellectual Property

- All materials provided during the Program, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, and recordings, are the intellectual property of the Organizer and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
- For material and content provided by guest contributors or speakers, the guest maintains the copyright over all the material that they share.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The information, education, and coaching provided to the participants by the Organizer, guest speakers and consultants under this agreement are provided on an “as-is” basis, without any warranties or representations express, implied or statutory; including, without limitation, warranties of quality, performance, non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nor are there any warranties created by a course of deal, course of performance, or trade usage.

13. Limitation of Liability
By using Organizer’s services and purchasing this Program, participants accept any and all risks, foreseeable or unforeseeable, arising from such transaction. The Organizer's liability to participants (whether contractual or otherwise) in connection with the Program shall be limited to damages resulting from its willful misconduct or gross negligence in the performance of its services under these Terms and Obligations and shall in no event exceed the fees paid by that participant to the Organizer. The Organizer shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses or loss of profits.  Participants agree that the use of and participation in this Program is at the user’s own risk.

14. Privacy Policy

Participants' personal information will be collected and used in accordance with the Organizer's Privacy Policy, which can be found at Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of Zurich, Switzerland have exclusive jurisdiction arising from this agreement.

16. Amendments

The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes.

17. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in the Program, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
