Fellowship of Action Short Overview

As a reminder, here is a short summary of the key aspects of the program:

  • To join the Fellowship for Action program, you should:

    • Be at least 21 years old

    • Show a clear interest in addressing food system challenges and driving change

    • Be open for collaboration and co-creation

    • Have strong English communication skills

    • Have access to a stable internet connection

    • Be available to attend two one-week in-person intensives in Switzerland and participate in online sessions between them.

    You should also be comfortable documenting your work and navigating online tools and spaces. Participation is open to individuals from all professional and educational backgrounds who have demonstrated work experience in food systems. If you're interested in the program but unsure if you meet all the criteria, please contact us. We're happy to discuss it with you.

  • We accept applications on a rolling basis until the program is filled. We strongly recommend applying early to confirm your place. The deadline for applications to receive the early bird rate or a scholarship is 1 July 2026. We do not accept applications later than 31 August 2026.

  • EARLY BIRD

    • Swiss Applicants: 2'900 CHF

    • International Applicants: 2'400 CHF

    • Deadline: 1 July 2026

    STANDARD

    • Swiss Applicants: 3,400 CHF

    • International Applicants: 2'900 CHF

    • Deadline: 31 August 2026

    A limited number of scholarships are available - please indicate your need for a scholarship and what you are able to contribute towards the participation fee in the application form. The deadline for applicants requesting a scholarship is 1 July 2026.

  • The program begins online on October 12th 2026 and ends at the end of August 2027. The first intensive week in Switzerland will take place from 25th - 31st October 2026. The second intensive week will take place from the 8th - 14th August 2026.

  • Your CV (in PDF form) should be max. one page and shows your professional and educational background at a glance.

  • For your personal story, we invite you to share the story (max. one page) of how you got involved with food and why you are looking to make a contribution in this space. Please also share if you already have an organisation, community or a local context in mind, where you would like to create change. We are looking for an honest and personal story here, something that only you, not AI, could write :).

  • For your video/voice note (2-3 minutes), we would like you to answer the following questions:

    • What would be a good outcome for you from this program?

    • Where are you currently in your work and life situation, and how do you see this program fitting in?

    • How do you plan to make space, time, and energy for the program?
